Bowl Projections For Your Viewing Pleasure
Posted by Matt on August 16, 2007
Ivan Maisel (our new found friend) and Mark Schlabach of ESPN.com have released their 2007-2008 Bowl projections and here is where Kentucky finds itself:
Maisel: The 13th Bowl from the BCS Championship, Maisel pits Kentucky against Maryland in the Chik-Fil-A Bowl (ACC #2 vs. SEC #5)
Schlabach: The 23rd Bowl from the BCS Championship, Schlabach has Kentucky facing off against Kansas State in the PetroSun Independance Bowl (SEC #8 vs. Big 12 #7)
It is interesting to note that the Gaylord Hotel Music City Bowl (where Kentucky was last year) is ACC #5/6/7 vs. SEC #6 meaning that Ivan Maisel has us one Bowl game better than last year while Mark Schlabach has us one Bowl game worse.
Between this and the Andre Woodson All-American selection, Maisel is my new favorite ESPN.com analyst.
