Just Another Manic Monday
Posted by Matt on April 16, 2007
‘The Bangles,’ not to be confused with the Bengals, sang “Manic Monday” and I am convinced that they could have ran the Bengals organization better in the 1990s than it was ran. Thus, my long-waited, much-anticipated article regarding Bengals’ draft selections of yesteryear will be out first thing tomorrow morning, so be sure to check that out and feel free to discuss others left off of the list.
The final part of “Condo’s” three-part series of the Round 1 mock draft will be up sometime this week in preparation for the upcoming NFL draft. If you have not gotten a chance to read the first two parts, I suggest you take the time to do so now as they are extremely well written and you will be all caught up when the third, and final, part drops this week.
Yet again, a Chevrolet won in NASCAR with Jeff Burton taking the checkered flag in the Samsung 500 yesterday. This brings Chevrolet’s total wins to six of seven races this season, which is ridiculous. Hendrick Motor Sports’ drivers again looked tough and it will not be too much longer before Jeff Gordon earns his first trip to victory lane this season.
The Reds finished a six-game road trip with a 3-3 record and start a 2-game series with Milwaukee at Great American Ball Park tonight with half-game lead in the NL Central Division. The weather appears to be finally warming up for us so look for a little more pop in the bat tonight, unlike the 1-0 pitcher’s duel yesterday in Chicago. “Charlie Hustle” has a solid break down of that game already up so be sure to check that out.
Thats all for now, we will be on the horn if anything huge breaks today…
